The Courageous Princess - Rod Espinosa

A graphic novel in the art syle of Dragonball Z and Pokemon. Mabelrose is a princess who is not the fairest in the land but is nevertheless kidnapped by an evil dragon. She manages to escape him and takes some helpful 'tools' from his treasury with her. The story chronicles her journey home and the adventures she has along the way. She doesn't make it home in this 'episode'. The ending was inadequate as it is appears to be the first of a series. While the idea of a courageous princess was appealing the story seemed a bit hollow.
