This was a really interesting book, and I couldn`t put it down when I started reading it.
Its about a 12 year old boy who`s mother has died, and his father has given up on life, and its up to him to get things back on track. Obstacles are thrown in his path but he battles on, determined to make life better for him and his father.
This would be a good book to read as a class, but also for independent readers, especially young boys who are interested in fishing and boats.
