Across the Nightingale Floor

The setting portrays Japan in the time of the Samurai Warriors, and this is a tale of tension and conflict between two great Clans. The hero is a young boy who`s family is murdered by one of the clans, and is then rescued by the other Clan. He is groomed and raised for a final conflict that will forever end the rivalry between the two clans.
A really good story and a good read, with twists and turns all the way to keep the reader interested.
Thoroughly enjoyed it.

I agree - I thought the alternating voices was a really effective narrative device - gripping read
