SkyBreaker, Kenneth Oppel

An exciting adventure set in an early 20th century world where airships are the main mode of transport. Matt, studying at the Airship Academy, and Kate embark on a hunt for a missing airship full of treasure. The fast paced, action filled plot and the interesting, well formed characters make this book a compelling read. Although it is the second book of the series, it is a story that can be read first. I read the first book, Airborn, after Skybreaker and enjoyed it just as much. One of my favourite authors, highly recommended.
