The Moustache by Robert Cormier

I went home, gathered up my books and dived in.

This is a delightful, gentle read, interwoven with evocative drawings, which tackled the sadness and melancholy of old age and memory loss head on. The language is sophisticated but captures the honest voice of a young man facing his grandmother's "fog" during an unscheduled visit to Lawnrest. Great read and ready to capture a visual learner.
