30 Weird & Wonderful New Zealand Stories - Barbara Else, editor

Yet another collection of 30 stories by New Zealand authors, this one of fantasy and science fiction stories. Not a book I would usually select but I really enjoyed it. The stories are all only about 3-6 pages long and this made this book easy to read in pieces while stopping to do other things. While there are stories by very well known authors such as Margaret Mahy, David Hill, Jack Lasanby and Margaret Beames, it was nice to be introduced to some authors I have not had the opportunity to read before. My favourite stories were 'An Ice block, Please' by Lorraine Williams, 'The Virus' by Ken Catran and 'The Unicorns' by Jane Buxton.
