Zac's Back, Paul Collins

Very easy to read early novel.
Quite a strange story about a boy named Zac who has a mum who is in a wheelchair. Within the first 2 chapters they both die from a paint and fire accident and Zac is left on earth as a ghost, but his mum goes to heaven.

Zac then haunts the house, and all the tennants leave after a short amount of time. Then a family comes and visits and Zac sences something about the girl and decides to not make them move.

On the whole it was a strange story. I don't know why it had the dying part in it, maybe to make it more realistic (?). Zac and the new girl both play the piano, so could spark some interest for others who are keen pianists, maybe!
