Supergroove concert New Years Eve at Butlers Reef in Oakura, Taranaki, for all those teenagers of the 90's I had the opportunity to attend this gig and lets just say the security guards could not understand I was 'sneaking' in a pink book not alcohol. This book would appeal to y4-6 girls its about a genius girl who looses her mother at age three and has a father that does not understand how to bring her up, she is lucky enough to come across a wonderful teacher who makes a difference in her life. (much like us!!) It is a fun book and well written easy to read and enjoyable, would be a good read aloud for a y3-4 class I am sure some of it may appeal to boys too.
