This story is set in the Australian town of Jagged Nest. where Boris (who comes from "a very cold place") and Kev have formed the B and K Detective Agency. Unfortunately there is not much to investigate in Jagged Nest, until the day a large black cloud of bats storms the town, and Kev sees the ghost of the legendary bushranger Lenny Jagged riding a horse up the hill behind the cemetary. There are rumours of diamonds and all sorts of treasure in the caves in the hills. With characters like Lurchy Watkins, Ancient Kelly and twins Arsenic and Awful, I couldn't help but enjoy this book, and feel it would make a great read aloud at primary level as this age group would especially relate to the humour.
