See Ya Simon by David Hill

A book that I have heard of & have wanted to read for years! This is the story of a friendship between two teenagers, one of whom has muscular dystrophy. It's narrated by Nathan and deals not only with his friend Simon's illness but also his own personal struggles - his parents splitting up, an annoying little sister, school & girls! Not all stories have happy endings & this one certainly has a moving final chapter. A great read.
