Celebrity Cat By Meredith Hooper and Bee Willey

Celebrity Cat is a beautifully written sophisticated picture book. It is about the cats visiting the art gallery one night and discovering that there are not any cats painted in any of the well known paintings. The paintings included: Van Gough's Chair, The Courtyard of a House in Delft, Tiger in a Tropical Strom, The Harvesters, The Mona Lisa and The Family of Philip IV. It was discovered that dogs, lions, tigers, birds and horses featured in these paintings, but the cat was always left out. It made the cats cross and so Felissima the cat decides to fix the paintings up to include the cat. Once all the paintings were altered, she decides to invite the cats back to the art gallery to explore her amazing artwork. 

A lovely book that I also read to my class, before school finished. 

It is a great book that enables you to explore artworks from the famous artists. It was cleverly written and illustraited. A very cute book in which the pictures make you laugh.
