The Rainmakers by Ben Brown

A great New Zealand picture book written by the author of 'A Booming in the Night' (winner of NZ Post Children's Book Awards, Best Picture book 2006). It's a story about a pukeko who tries to steal a rainbow from some kea & how they get it back from her. It had an appealing storyline and was an engaging read. The illustrations were also beautiful to look at.
