This was the first chapter book out of my pack that I decided to have a look at. I read the blurb and thought, yeah, I know what this story is going to be like, I know what's going to happen!
Bethany is about to turn 13, her mother hasn't stopped crying in years, and she gets dumped off at an aunts house that she didn't even know existed, and just left, all the phone numbers she knew have been disconnected and there are no listings for her parents in the directory. Then people all over the town start saying strange comments to her about how she looks so much like someone else they once knew, someone named Elizabeth.
And it turned out I had no idea what the story was about! It was much, much more than I expected, this is one I talked to friends about!
