On the Way Home by Jill Murphy

This book has a great front cover that I thought would really appeal to young readers. It is a humorous picture book that has an easy-to-follow storyline about how a girl called Claire has hurt her knee. It demonstrates the vivid imagination of children in trying to get others to believe them! However, I thought the repetitive nature of the text went on for a bit too long. I ended up skipping to the last page to find out what happened!
