This is a classic book, everytime my 2 year old nephew comes to visit I ask him to choose a book from the bag and he chooses this one (possibly as he has it at home also) It is a beautifully written book with language appropriate for junior children and everyone young and old can relate to this story about fathers and over embellishing on the truth. This book has beautiful pictures that allow it to continue with the story of this poor old dad doing everything from frightening off wolves to winning races all is his stripy pyjamas and tartan bathrobe. Just like my Dad :)
